4 Vegetables Vary your veggies!  How much is needed? Girls – 2 cups Boys – 2 ½ cups  What is a cup? For many veggies, a cup is just one 8oz measuring cup full. For others it is different. One example is one large ear of corn (8-9”) = one cup.  What are some examples of vegetables?

5 Vegetables (cont.) vary your veggies!  There are five different categories of vegetables, so make sure you are getting a variety of different veggies!  Dark Green Vegetables  Red and Orange Vegetables  Starchy Vegetables  Beans and Peas  Other vegetables
