LONG TERM GOAL Visible improvement in students to be observed by giving a collaborative environment to develop their skills. Focus should be on providing such environment during schooling so that students are better able to cope up with challenges of the 21st century

SHORT TERM GOAL Support books in addition to text books should be provided to increase content understanding Weekly / bi-monthly presentations / debates should be arranged so that students gain confidence to openly express themselves in front of a crowd Group learning sessions should be arranged focusing on improving interpersonal skills and to better understand their responsibility matrix while working individually or as part of a team Urge students to use electronic media (e.g. TV, internet) in a constructive way

INSTRUCTIONAL STRATEGIES AND TASKS
I will provide access to information portal that will enable students to grasp knowledge of subjects / topics of their own interest I will conduct random quizzes / surprise tests to better understand the level of each student I will conduct planned presentations on social topics to boost my students confidence level

Strategies Approach Mode Autobiography Motivational Skills students will bring their interesting photographs, make a time line then write their autobiography I will form groups of students with different abilities and assign them tasks to be completed with the use of research and internet, all under my watchful monitoring Intervening skills Questioning skills Brainstorming Written task.(Comprehension Passages) Giving a chance to students to preparing a questionnaire for other students. Listening & speaking skills Brainstorming through pictures Question preparation (Group work) Interview Written Task Letter Writing Communication Skills Directional Skills Students will make an envelop for the letter. They will write a letter to their friend or family according to the given instructions and post it too. Public speaking will be encouraged in the class-room Interviews and Role Plays

SOLUTIONS TO ANTICIPATED CHALLENGES
Students might feel hesitant while working with others Student might feel shy / under confident while putting forward their individual tasks Some parents might be reluctant in giving internet access to their children at such a young age I will try to motivate them to put as much effort as they could individually and the final result would automatically be fine I will encourage them to give their best without worrying about the outcome I will try to convince the parents that internet access under proper supervision is not harmful

CONCLUSION IT has revolutionized every aspect of our world and it was just a matter of time before new teaching methods enabled the teacher to better utilize their teaching skills. I am excited and looking forward to practically utilize my newly acquired teaching skills for the betterment of THE CITY SCHOOL learning environment
