You need the following qualifications and experience: 5 GCSEs at grade C or above including English and Maths. Equivalents are sometimes accepted. 3 A levels above grade C or a degree to be an officer Experience working with people in a voluntary public service setting, such as army cadets, police specials, youth leader, scouts, etc. You can join at any age between 16-32
