4 Today’s Essential Question When is texting most efficient? Least efficient? Are there more and less efficient ways of doing it? What makes for an effective text message? 4

5 Your task: – Work with your partner to text directions from [the Winnetka Train station] to [this school] using Wiffiti. – Write your text first. – Be sure that it (a) conveys a clear message and (b) uses the fewest number of characters possible. – The partner with less texting experience should enter and send the text. FACILITATORS: THIS MIGHT BE HARD TO DISPLAY WHEN THE WIFFITI SCREEN IS SUPPOSED TO BE SHOWING. CONSIDER HAVING THIS WRITTEN ON A LARGE POST-IT. Draft only 9.11.115

6 Game Time! Work with a partner of similar comfort level/experience with texting. Choose a game to play via text, either on your phones or an ipad. If needed, give the other person the card with your number on it.
