…and more facts Argentina declared independence from Spain on 9 July 1816 Eva Peron was the popular wife of Juan Peron, who became President in the 1950’s. She died aged 33 and Andrew Lloyd Webber wrote the musical Evita about her.

… and even MORE facts!!! Argentina was one of the first countries to have radio broadcasting, with the first broadcast being in August 1920. Only 20 people had a radio! A major export is wine Crocodiles live in Argentina!
