1. What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?

2. During the construction process of my opening sequence I learnt about how to use many different computer applications and further my knowledge about some of the apps I have basic knowledge of. For example, when I first started using photoshop this year, only having spent little time on it last year, I was able to develop my skills the help me make my product as good as I could make it. With help from my teachers and peers they showed me how to do things on there. They showed me how to make a video/animation using photoshop, the animation was the production company you see at the start of the sequence. How I did this was to first make the basic layers of the animation, this was the background and the two pieces of text. I then changed the settings on photoshop so that it was an animation. I then moved the text to a start position and then a finish position, which is why the texts starts off the screen and then moves to the center. I then was able to render it into a video to put into my sequence.

3. I have also furthered my knowledge of Sony Vegas during the construction of my opening sequence, this just included me finding out how to edit specific shots for example slowing them down or speeding them up, and cutting them at the parts that seemed appropriate and then fitting them together so they look as professional as possible.

4. I also learned about how to use website such as Wordpress to blog my work. These two learning processes were quite straight forward. Once I was able to get my head around how to work them, with the help from my teachers, it was then easy to upload work and put them in the correct pages. Another website that I learned how to use was google docs. This is an online app that allows you to write documents and share them online. Also you can work on the same document with your peers, this was useful during our preliminary task when we were working in groups to write up and share our ideas on the document.

5. I also learned how to write a real looking script with the use of Celtex. Last year during my media, I used celtex a little bit when writing a script for a trailer. I was able to learn the basics of script writing but this year I was able to take it further by learning all for what is needed to write a well constructed script. I was able to do this from help from my teachers and peers, telling me how to change things so that I was in the correct settings.
