20 Parting Thought The underlying principle of In Control is to ensure the way we help people with a disability is based upon a person centred approach and therefore to construct organisations and systems that promote this. To make this happen we need enthusiasm, belief and a change in culture (and the strength to drag a dead horse up a mountain!!!)
