1. This shows the adventures Mrs. Pace’s class took to make their apple pie. How to Make an Apple Pie and See the World

2. First we read this really great book!

3. We talked about how the girl in the book went all over the world to get the ingredients she needed to make her pie.

4. First we prepared our crust Kailee helped poke the holes in the crust before we baked it.

5. After baking the crust, we mixed our apple mixture. Jaylin and Patrick added sugar to the apples.

6. We needed some cinnamon just like the kind the character got from the bark of a tree in Sri Lanka. Connor added the cinnamon after we all had a chance to smell it.

7. Next, it was time to make the topping for the pie. Kendall and Peyton added the flour. Good thing they didn’t have to go to the wheat fields of Italy!

8. Adding some brown sugar Antwan helps with this part.John adds another scoop.

9. Stirring it up! Dawsun helps us out!

10. Mixing in some butter to make it Yummy! Thanks for your help Vivian and Ty!

11. One final stir Madison gives our topping one more stir before we put it in the microwave to cook.

13. It’s Ready! Only 15 minutes in the microwave gave us a yummy pie that we all can’t wait to taste!

14. We all enjoyed eating our yummy pie! We’re so glad we didn’t have to go around the world though!
