To educate the public in the arts by providing various artistic presentations to raise the public’s appreciation of the arts To educate artists by the establishment, operation and maintenance of a centre which will provide facilities, equipment, and education for artists To encourage development of artists and to act as a resource body to artists Charitable Responsibility

How to expand the circle? Art Rental Program Artists’ Retail Incubator Enhanced Art Programs Front of House Staff Larger outreach campaigns

What do these look like? ARTS Project Alcove Mini-gallery for Art Rental & Artists’ Retail at the front of the north gallery, modifying the current storage closet Space monitored by a new front of house staff Pieces in the selection can be viewed on the website Lower South Gallery Separation Outfitted with either a projector + Screen, or a moveable white board Designed as a draw “through” the space, presenting either films or musical acts. Run for a month at a time, not just a week Enhanced Programs Artist to Artist open nights: more mingling Lunch hour or early evening buskers Corporate Teambuilding Teen/Young Adult Art programming “Open Art” sessions, where supplies available, participation for a small fee. $2,183 Upfront $10,052 Operating 60-100 pieces rented/year If not AR, Maybe Programming?

Low Risk, Moderate Reward Current Activities are sustainable, but stagnant Unsure Art Rental, Art Retail will bring sustainable revenues early enough Expenditure would eliminate important Emergency Funds Whatever option is chosen, needs to accomplish more than one goal at the same time
