Posting Determine number of hires, and if the appropriate number of positions exist. Submit an action to either create a new position, or modify an existing position and request to post.

Create Additional Positions

Choose the appropriate Position Type

Choose the appropriate position class title

FTOOO1 Can enter class title or position number to search for position you want to copy Use “Copy Position to create additional positions. May copy the position you posted.

If you only entered the title you will get all titles within your org. Find the position number of the position you want to copy, then click select and continue

Enter Org Code and Department Name. It is very important to ensure the Org code is entered. Please note, if the org code is not entered you will not be able to view your action. Make sure to use the correct org suffix |Fac|, |Sta|, or |Stu| Position Details Tab

Select “NO” for “Are you posting this position”. May want to enter “This is a multiple hire” in the comment section Select “NO” for “Are you posting this position”. May want to enter “This is a multiple hire” in the comment section

Action will follow established approval process

Hiring Multiple Applicants from Posting

Click on “Change Status”

Select “Begin Hiring Proposal”

Can hire for the position you posted with any applicant

Use this when hiring for “POSITIONS” you created.

Enter Position Number then click “Search”

Note the “Position Sequence #” – Only one applicant hired per sequence number
