Characters and Their Character Traits  Ali- a caring girl who hopes that one day her brother will talk again.  Leandra- a member of the girls with long hair club who seems to think everything is about her.  Bunny/Bonita- a care free girl except when her mother is traveling in a plane.  Edgar- Ali’s little brother.  Robert- a not so nice boy who really wants to impress Ali.  Mrs. Snoops- Ali’s friend who as you can tell from her name likes to be in everybody's business.

3. Setting  Ali and Edgar’s house  Leandra’s house  Leandra’s grandparent’s house  Mrs. Snoops House  The empty lot/the orange tree

4. Problems  Major Problem  One day there is an orange cone in the empty lot. Most of the time orange cones mean street repair so no one thinks much of it. Until they see a stranger suddenly coming everyday to the empty lot. Could he have something to do with the orange cone?  Minor Problem  The Minor problem is that Edgar got a brain tumor and cannot talk. This is so sad to Ali and her family. Will Edgar ever talk again?

5. Moral of the story  Even if people don’t approve of it do what you think is right.  There is always hope if you make the hope.
