Where We Started This Journey… Over ½ of students reported consuming soda pop and/or sugar-sweetened flavored drinks one or more times per day Only ¼ of Eldon students reported eating fruits and vegetables 5 or more times per day Only 53.3% of Eldon students reported daily breakfast consumption in the winter of 2013

Where Do We Travel From Here ? Eldon School District receives a grant from Missouri Foundation For Health (MFH) to help combat childhood obesity Full time district wellness coordinator is hired for the school district Wellness committees are established in the district
