6.  When you create a flowchart there are certain rules you must follow.  Each step has a certain Shape (You will be using these in Microsoft Visio)

7.  This shape goes at the start or end of the Sequence  This shows that the sequence is either starting or finishing Start/End

8.  This shape specifies a process e.g. Wake up Process

9.  This shape is used to determine a decision (Yes/No) this could be used to check if the shower is on…. “Is the shower on?” Is the shower on? YesNo

10.  This shape is used to determine indicate a data input or output. For example ”
