NCAA Students who plan to participate in Division 1 or 2 collegiate athletics need to make sure they have registered with the NCAA Eligibility Center http://eligibilitycenter.org See the NHS website for additional information about NCAA.

Give a teacher/counselor at least two weeks to write a letter of rec. Provide a resume Provide a copy of your Senior Planning Worksheet from Naviance. Complete the Letter of Rec form (available in Counseling Office or on the website) Make sure to THANK the recommender! RECOMMENDATION LETTERS

COLLEGE OPPORTUNITY FUND (COF) IMPORTANT FOR STUDENTS ATTENDING COLORADO COLLEGES Apply for the COF at https://cof.college- assist.orghttps://cof.college- assist.org COF is required to receive in-state tuition rates at Colorado colleges

SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION Research scholarships through the Financial Aid Office at each college/university. Many institutions require students to be admitted before being considered for scholarship opportunities. Please make sure to submit all supplemental financial aid/scholarship applications required by each college. Use Naviance to find scholarships which are harder to find on other search websites. INDIVIDUAL MEETINGS Starting Thursday, September 3rd, sign up for an individual 30 minute meeting with your Counselor. Appointment sheets will be in the Counseling Office. IMPORTANT: Please write your appointment time down, or even better, put it in your phone!!
