South Africa leader Nelson Mandela Born in the Transkei in 1918, the son of the then Chief of the Temba tribe and Mandela received his first education from a Methodist boarding school and he died in 18 July 2008 at 90 years old and be he died Methodist He joined the African National Congress in 1944 and was engaged in resistance in1948. and he brought peace to South Africa Nelson Mandela The English businessman and Rhodes found the modern diamond industry and controlled the British South Africa Company and that’s where Cecil John Rhodes was born on July 5, 1853, at Bishop's Stortford, Cecil's poor health forced him to stay at home and attend the local grammar school. Instead of attending college, sixteen-year-old Cecil was sent to South Africa to work on a cotton farm. Barnard was born on November 8, 1922, in Beaufort West, South Africa. Barnard, along with his three brothers, grew up extremely poor and attended the local public schools.
