BEE Athletic Boosters Executive Meeting October 8, 2014 Attendees: Beth O’Donnell, Jennifer Starinsky, Dan Kalinsky, Chip Bell, Mary Grace Dimitrijevs, and Janice Morgan President, Beth O’Donnell, called the meeting to order at 7:48. Items discussed: Checks have been given to the boosters in the memory of Dave Fulton for the permanent improvement fund. The tennis parents are going to start fundraising for the resurfacing project. JoAnn will set up an account for the funds. The tennis court project includes 2 options. For around $100,000, the new surfacing can be placed over the existing surface. For $250,00, the old court can be completely replaced with a new court and new fencing. The boosters still need to pay $25,000 for the new sound system in the gym. If anyone has questions as to how much money is in any team account, they need to ask the coach. Finally, there was a discussion about how to increase involvement in the boosters. The boosters buy athletic awards, varsity letters for each team, championship t-shirts, and various other items. One suggestion is to have the coaches write letters to display on the booster website recognizing what the boosters have done for their teams in the past.
