NERU Scholarship of Teaching and Learning Dr Lynn Martin Follow Up of Faculty Development Day December 2011 This session will focus on creating theme research groups in education such as portfolios, simulation, clinical teaching, PBL,PBL in large groups, use of reflection, tutorial assessment and other ideas that emerged from the December day. Discussion Process The plan is to have groups develop a description for a focused educational research theme as NERU has done in the past. The Research office is available to assist groups to apply for the $2,000.00 educational research grant due 2012 mid March. This is an opportunity for all faculty to become part of research teams valuing education.
