1. Five days in Bristol

2. We spent five days in Bristol in Great-Britain. It was an amazing experience and we really enjoyed it. We went by plane and we were very excited about the trip because it was our first flight. When we arrived the family was waiting for us because we slept at students who were in the project and they accepted us into their house for five days. I have never met with that kind family as they were.They took care of us and they helped us in everything. It couldn’t be easy to accept two strangers in your house so we are really thankful for this.At their house we ate traditional British food : lamb with potatoes.It tasted great. Next day we went to the school on foot and the children showed us their school. The teachers and the whole school were sitting in the gym with songs and ‚say hello on your langauge’ type of welcome.

3. We saw how pupils learn in England in their class. It’s very different than our education.In the afternoon we went on sightseeing tour but unfortunately it was raining. We saw all of Bristol’s attractions and then we went home to the family’s house.

4. On the second day it wasn’t difficult to get out of the bed because we could get up an hour later. We were on a bus trip we saw a village near Bristol when we could buy souvenirs for our relatives at home. It was an old village with antic things. That was fantastic. In the afternoon we presented our environmental topic „Disappearance of the plants”. We wanted to raise everybody’s attention about saving our nature can make our world a better place to live. We were tired at the end of the day.

5. On the third day the program was almost the same like on the first day. We went with the children to school and we were sitting with them on class in the morning. In the afternoon we were excited about the programme because we tried out the traditional 5 o’clock tea, fish and chips and the Bingo. We were lucky because we won prizes on the Bingo and we were glad to be there with those amazing people who were around us. It was an unmemorable event.

6. We went home by plane again and we were pleased to be at home in Hungary because we loved England but we missed our country. Thanks for everything for everyone and thanks for our English teacher, Mrs. White that we could go there. Györe Laura, Sárközi Kinga
