3  The inside address is the address of the person you are writing to.  For Example: Victoria Vase 234 Colorful Drive Stanton KY,40380

4  The greeting is the salutation – or the way you start the letter.  For example: Dear Mrs. Brown, Dear Mr. Knox,

5  The body is the actual letter. It contains important information, purpose of writing etc.  Type according purpose:  Thank you  Cover letter  Job application  Educational purpose.

6  The closing tells you the letter is over unless you have an enclosure.  For Example:  Sincerely,  Love,  Thank you,

7  The signature is basically your name. You write it below the closing. The signature is generally written in cursive with it printed below.  For example: Sincerely, Bessie Barker

8  Everything is aligned to the left margin. ___________________ _______________ ___________________ _______________ ___________________

9  Everything is to the left besides the heading, Greeting, new paragraphs, closing and the signature.

10  All paragraphs have a tab
