Environment The Peruvian environment is very likely to reflect on its geography. Peru is in western South America and shares borders with Chile, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia and Ecuador.Peru's climate can be divided into two seasons - wet and dry - though this varies, depending on the geographical region. Due to Peru's industrial and vehicle emissions, Peru's principal environmental problems are air pollution, water pollution, soil erosion and pollution, and deforestation. Air pollution is a problem, especially in Lima.

environment It is very hard to describe Peru in words, it's more of a feeling. The environment in Peru is a very mountainous country with steep canyons, a narrow coastal plain and Amazon rain forest. There are many rivers and a number of lakes. Lake Titicaca, in the Central Andes, is the highest navigable lake in the world and the largest lake in South America. Abundant mineral resources are found in the mountainous areas, and Peru's coastal waters provide excellent fishing grounds.

Politics Peru's politics is the most changeable one in the South American Politics and it had diversified a lot in the recent years. Election in Peru is directly headed by the President (head of the state) and by the legislature. The president is further elected by the people for five years. Multi party system is followed by the Peruvian government and this process hampers one party to influence any scenes, so collaboration is seen between all the parties.Even though many of these politics are liars, cheaters and most of all very ambitious. They will do anything to get what they want.

Foreign relation in Peru is also good and the year 1998 witnessed a major peace agreement between Peru and Ecuador and resolving the differences and conflicts between the nations.Peru is also the member of the United Nations since 1949. Elections in Peru are held directly through the direct universal suffrage and voting system is mandatory for all the citizens aged eighteen years and thus the Peru Politics are the universal in its own way.

Economy The Peruvian economy varies all the time. It increases and decreases in stock marketing. The economy today is increasing very slowly as many Peruvians are left with no jobs or money some are gaining a small percent. " This increase has been a consistent performance of extractive industry (14 percent), trade (7 percent), manufacturing industry (5.6 percent ), services sector (3.7 percent) as well as transport, storage and communications industry (0.2 percent)" ( http://www.livinginperu.com/news/economy ).

-Peru's economic growth was strong over the 7 years up to 2008. Economic expansion in recent years has been driven by construction, mining, private investment, exports, and domestic consumption. Peru's economy is well managed, and better tax collection and growth have been increasing revenues while keeping it steady. -The main reason why the economy is mostly going well is because peruvians take it upon themselves to hand make their own clothing, food, jewelry or anything they can think of. They have huge "mercados", or markets, in almost every corner with plenty of small stores each person own.Take for example my uncle, he expirts things from America and sells them in peru;my aunt working for him. Many make their own company starting their own little business in the streets, calling for plenty of attention because even i always buy something in every corner, everytime i go.

Society & Culture Peruvian Culture is very interesting. Starting from hand made bags to cultural dances. Our designs in clothes are very popular today, specially hats and bags. Even our food is popular in America. It all began with the Incas;populating half of Peru. They were skilled in stonework, engineering, weaving, farming, the working of gold and silver and the building of roads. Tourists today can visit incredible archaeological remains that attest to the abilities of the Inca people.

Peruvian culture is very different and diverse from other countries. We have unique dances like negroide, lando, huayino and much more. We have 3 different regions, La Costa, Sierra y Selva, in which very different types of dances and foods. I was raised in the coastal region as well as my mother and father but i have learned of both "La Sierra" and "Selva" because of the rest of my family. When you go to Peru the culture quickly grab your attention as you learn so many varieties of things from each region which is why Peru has a vast amount of different looking places, each having a different environment. The food is something i can't really explain about because you must taste in order to believe how crazy your taste buds go as the food touches you mouth.
