7  Otter  Commanded otter to dive down  Otter was unsuccessful

8  Beaver  Beaver dove down  Beaver unsuccessful

9  Turtle  Gone for eons  Came back with mud

10  Shaped mud in his hands  Spread mud out on the water  Made just enough land for himself

11  Enough land for Creating Power and Kangi, the crow  Kangi flew down and rested

12  Waved the eagle feather  All land and no water

13  Tears were rain  Covered much of the earth  Became oceans, rivers, and lakes

14  Took out all kinds of animals, birds, and plants  He stamped on the earth and they all came alive

15  Creating Power formed men and women  Different color earth for different races  Stamped the earth and they came alive

16  New world  Gave people the pipe  “live by it”  Righteous
