You know that cells are the smallest part of your body 2 And you know that different cells have different jobs

But cells do not work alone 3 Cells that look alike and that do the same job work together in a group

A group of skin cells doing the same job is called skin tissue 4 Vocabulary: tissue A group of cells doing the same job

One kind of skin tissue covers your body 5 Another kind of skin tissue lines your mouth, stomach, and other body parts

Your body has other kinds of tissue 6 Bundles of muscle cells form muscle tissue
