Purpose Provide a structure for taking forward the EADP strategy in relation to alcohol use in Edinburgh Identify priorities, outcomes, impact indicators and actions. Develop a partnership approach

Process Steering group – multi-agency –Police- Fire service –Various CEC depts- Vol Sector –Scot Ambulance Service- NHS Development of logic model Links to EADP strategy, National Core ADP outcomes and other relevant Edinburgh logic models

Outcomes 6 long term outcomes Logic model (appendix 1) - corresponding medium and short term outcomes + supporting evidence Treatment and recovery 1.More people achieve sustained recovery from problematic alcohol use 2.There is a high quality recovery orientated system of care Crime and anti-social behaviour 3.Reduced alcohol related anti-social behaviour and offending Hazardous and Binge Drinking 4.Fewer people drink hazardously or binge drink 5.Reduced harm as a result of alcohol related accidents and unintended injury Children, young people and families 6.Fewer children, young people and families are affected by parental alcohol use
