Proper Grooming keeps your pet Happy and Healthy Grooming is often overlooked by many pet owners, but it is very important Many people don’t know that often grooming is actually very important to your pet’s health Often grooming, keeps pets comfortable, and happy. Lack of grooming can cause extreme discomfort, and in some cases can even cause so Diseases

Brushing Combing Brushing: Is very important because getting out all the mats, and dirt, and dead hair, Etc. before the bath makes the whole process easier. Combing: Is a very helpful task, after brushing run your comb through all surfaces of the hair, if you comb runs through smoothly without stopping, you’ve done a good job and can move on. Brushing and Combing but if your comb catches, you still have mats and should go back through with your brush Slicker brush

BATHING: WHEN BATHING YOU MAY WANT TO PUT COTTON BALLS INSIDE THE EARS OF FLOPPY EARED DOGS, BECAUSE DOG’S EARS ARE VERY SENSITIVE AND GETTING WATER IN THEM CAN CAUSE INFECTION. DRYING: WHEN DRYING WITH A TUBE DRYER IT IS BEST TO DRY IN A CIRCULAR MOTION, DOING THIS BLOWS THE WATER RIGHT OFF AND DRIES THE HAIR FASTER, ALSO IT FLUFFS THE HAIR OUT AND LAYS IT NATURALLY, MAKING THE COAT EVEN AND EASIER TO CUT Bathing and Drying Tube Dryer

Nail Trimming Nail Trimming: The most important thing to remember when trimming nails is, to always know where the quick is. The quick is the blood supply in the nail and if you cut o close to it the dog will bleed, and cause the animal much discomfort. Styptic Powder is used to stop the bleeding
8
NEVER use Q-tips for dogs ears the point can pack in dirt even more, and hurt them, and even cause damage to their ear drums. Instead, you should always use a soft material such as: cotton balls, cotton pads, gauze, or a small piece of cloth. Ear Cleaning: Ear cleaning is very important because dogs have very sensitive ears and are very prone to infection. Dogs spend a large amount of their time outside, running and jumping around, digging and rolling in dirt, so a lot of dirt and things tend to get in their ears, and its very important to keep them clean You can use Peroxide or A commercial Ear cleaning substance

Clipping and Trimming Hair Clipping: clipping is the process of shaving a small amount of hair using electric clippers There are different sized blades that snap on the clippers for different cuts, some cut less and some cut more. Trimming: Trimming the process of touching up certain areas or trimming small pieces of hair in more detail, and paying extra attention to certain areas such as: the face, chin, or feet, etc. Electric clippers
