2.  Dr. Patricia E. Bath was born in New York City, New York on November 4. 1942. Her Mother’s and father’s name is Gladys and Rupert Bath. She was not an only child in fact, she was the second born out of three children.

3.  Her hometown is New York City, New York. This is where she got her inspiration to be a ophthalmologist. Her inspiration came from lasers.

4.  Patricia E. Bath found her education in Hunter College B.A, National Heath Association, and by practicing her work.

5. PPatricia E. Bath was the woman that invented Laser Eye Surgery. This helped many people avoid wearing contact lenses and glasses. Not only did it help people avoid wearing eye sight enhancers (glasses, contacts, etc.) but, it gave the people with no hope of ever seeing again have the privilege to see again!
