Sketchbook Assignment: 1.Self reflection + Artist Statement on Metaphorical Self Portrait Project – approx. 100 words 2.Select two social issues that you feel strongly about. Find 1 newspaper/online article over each issue. Imbed the article into your sketchbook (tape, glue) and summarize each article, ≥40 words per article. Include your opinions. 3.Begin to sketch/plan/collage visuals related to ONE of the two social issues. This will be used for the Social Commentary Project.
