2 INTRODUCTION  What a statement, “he was troubled in his spirit”…John 13:20  What a path to travel…. to the Cross.  What a disappointment… opposition from within..  Judas BETRAYED Jesus

3 JUDAS  One of the chosen disciples of Jesus and a resource person too. What a future in His kingdom?  One of those who heard and witnessed many miracles….What a revelation?  One of those who handed him to the enemy. What a sad act of treachery?  Why did Judas do this?

4 MISUNDERSTOOD  Judas although he was part of them but his interest was more of earthly kingdom. Matt 10:38,39  Judas had his own plans and agenda…John13:27  Judas was not a believer……John6:64  Judas REJECTED the Cross

5 MISMANAGED  Judas was the money man…  Judas was not genuine in caring for the poor in fact he was a thief. Mark 14:5  Judas sold Jesus for 30 silver coins..Matt 26:15  Judas PERSISTED in his own greed.

6 MISTAKEN CHOICE  Jesus knew what Judas would do…John2:25 6:64  Judas was exposed to spiritual guidance as other disciples BUT he continued not to yield…John6:70  Judas remained unmoved to Jesus’ love John 13:5,11,26  Judas SUBMITTED to evil spirit. John13:2,27

7 Conclusion  Judas rejected and went into darkness v30  Judas missed the revelation of the Glory of the Cross. John13:31,32  Judas felt remorseful and hanged himself. Matt27:5  Judas MISSED it all
