1 Corinthians 15:1-4 “Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you--unless you believed in vain. For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures” (NKJV).

Sins That Crucified Jesus I. Ignorance. A.“They do not know what they do” (Luke 23:33-34). B.“Did it in ignorance” (Acts 3:13-17). C.They “closed” their eyes (Matt. 13:14- 15). D.We must not remain in ignorance.

Sins That Crucified Jesus II. Hatred. A.Jesus “went about doing good” (Acts 10:38; cf. John 10:32). B.Men “loved darkness” (John 3:19-21). C.They hated Him “without cause” (John 15:25; Ps. 69:4). D.We must not hate what is good.

Sins That Crucified Jesus III. Envy. A.He was accused because of envy (Matt. 27:15-18). B.The Jews of Thessalonica became envious (Acts 17:1-5). C.We must not allow envy to lead us to crucify Christ again (Heb. 6:6).

Sins That Crucified Jesus IV. Love of Money. A.Judas betrayed Jesus for money (Matt. 26:14-15; cf. John 12:6). B.The love of money is a root of evil (1 Tim. 6:6-11). C.We must not allow material things to turn us from the Lord.

Sins That Crucified Jesus V. Lying. A.False witnesses were brought to accuse Jesus (Matt. 26:59-60). B.The guards at the tomb were paid to lie (Matt 28:12-15). C.We must have a “love of the truth” (2 Thess. 2:10).

Sins That Crucified Jesus VI. Moral Weakness. A.Pilate knew Jesus was innocent (Luke 23:13-16). B.He was too weak to release Him (Luke 23:20-23). C.Will we have the strength to stand with Jesus?
