11. Proper Steps to get started… We all know that word problems are a good time, but some students don’t know how to get started. Here are three tips to make it easier: 1) Read the stinking problem! Then reread the problem. Then re-re-read the problem! 2) If you still aren’t sure, see step number 1. 3) Define variables to identify what it is you are trying to find.
