1 Title of film: Unhinged Shannon Cassidy

2 Our targeted primary audience are teenagers aged 15-21 and secondary audience aged 22-30. Because our film is an independent film we will not be able to advertise on a big market such as TV adverts, billboards or Youtube, so our film will only be attracted to the local town’s people. For our primary audience we will be using Pull Advertising on social websites such as Facebook and Twitter, this is because teenagers nowadays are so involved with the internet which is a good way to get our film noticed as they can talk about it face to face as well. For the secondary audience we will be using Push Advertising in the local newspaper and possibly the towns local radio station, this is because the older audience would read more upcoming news and adverts in a newspaper than going on the internet, also with the radio station it is a great way to get our film notice as the radio is played mainly everyday in family homes, work and in cars. To attract big film company names we will try and post as many advertisements online and send emails to film company production crew to see if our film could possibly grab more of a worldwide audience to show how an independent film can be successful not being as big as the other companies.

3 In most big films, the casting crew like to cast big Hollywood stars as this instantly attracts any audience. As this is our first film we would have not used well known actors to play the characters but if we were to make more and use the same character/s they would hopefully become well known in the city and hopefully get noticed by acting agents making them get more noticed for being cast in big films. Because of not having well known actors we would have to attract the audience by creating an exciting storyline and film in a location that is known to local people.

4 After having an audience watch our opening title sequence we got a good amount of feedback from the audience. The most frequent feedback we got was about the location of the set: ‘good location – abandoned house’ ‘building is derelict’ ‘scary abandoned house, creates mystery and discomfort’ ‘great recce – sets the tense atmosphere’ ‘realistic location for the story plot’ As this was the main feedback we realized we hadn’t taken much thought about how good our recce was, as we just thought it was a good location that matched the description we were looking for, otherwise we would of have to of set up this style in someone's house which would have made it difficult as it wouldn’t seem like a real abandoned building.
