SURVEY PREPARATION Understanding the Client’s Pods Instance Which tables are “required” and which fields inside those table are “required” Understanding the “domain lookups” Dictionary types (text or numeric) Reverse Engineering the Survey Code/Attributes Current Survey code list should be reviewed to ensure the capture of data satisfies the client’s final needs

DATA PREPARATION MTR Data Mill data from the manufacturer identifying pipe specifications and test reports. IFC Data requisition IFC data (survey points, vector data, parcel data, imagery) Above Ground Piping Drawings Typical or site specific fabrication drawings Procurement Records What was purchased in order to validate what was used Empty Data? What is the client’s standards for empty fields (“unk”, -1, “unknown”, “0”)

DATA STAGING Final Tie-in is complete…what now? Validating Heat Numbers against MTR / Mill reports Checking for elevation busts Checking for Joint Lengths Duplicate x-ray numbers “AlignFM” or “REV” Checking collected data against client “domain table” values Loading BSDI tables for client PODS load.
