Montgomery Bus Boycott Started The Montgomery Bus Boycott started on December 1 1955. It started when Rosa Parks was arrested for not moving from the seat that she was seating in. Perhaps the movement started on the day in 1949 when a black professor Jo Ann Robinson. absentmindedly sat at the front of a nearly empty bus, then ran off in tears when the bus driver screamed at her for doing so.

Montgomery Bus Boycott Supporter A pastor name Martin Luther King Jr. wrote his favorite speech “ I Have A Dream”. As Martin Luther King’s closest friend and advisor, Ralph Abernathy became a central figure in the civil rights struggle during the Montgomery bus boycott

End of Montgomery Bus Boycott On June 5,1956 the Supreme Court ruled that segregation unconstitutional. All of the blacks went back to ride the Buses again on June 5, 1956.
