3 Answers FALSE!! When you first begin to lose weight it is mostly water weight, so make sure you aren’t becoming dehydrated! FALSE! It is not healthy to completely get rid of entire food group such as grains or meat, but it is possible. Most people begin to crave it so bad from completely cutting it out that they overeat it the next time they allow themselves to eat that food. FALSE! Exercise is a great way to maintain your body weight and stay fit, but the best way to lose weight is to focus on your diet. Calories in need to be less than calories out! TRUE!! Deprives body of needed nutrients and can dehydrate you. Some religions require that people fast for short periods of time. This is safe.

12 Healthy Ways to Gain weight
Chose higher calorie food from one of the 5 major food groups. Chose whole milk rather than skim milk Make sure the foods you chose are not only higher in calorie, but nutrient rich, so your providing useful calories so you can grow. A Pop-Tart may be high in calories, but they have little nutritional value, whereas a pack of almonds has a lot of calories and tons of nutritional value.

13 Physical Activity- anything that expends energy!
60 minutes a day! Physical activity can help you lose weight, gain weight, or maintain weight. Helps relieve stress Promotes normal appetite response Increases self esteem Releases endorphins, which can lighten your mood and make you feel happier.

14 Weight Gain Eat nutritious snacks!! Nuts or dried fruit
EXERCISE REGULARLY! If you are increasing your caloric intake to gain weight, working out will help that weight gain become muscle not fat.
