Climate of Northern Australia Australia is closer to the equator then America itself. The Northern part of Australia has a tropical climate consisting of a temperature of 70-78 degrees Fahrenheit in the winter and temperatures up to 105 degrees in the summer.

Climate of Southern Australia Meanwhile, the southern part of Australia can have temperatures as low as 56 degrees Fahrenheit in the winter but can reach up to 100 degrees in the summer. The weather usually consists of clear sunny days, however we do have rain every now and then.

How to get to Australia In order to get to your fabulous destination of Australia, you will need to take a 28 hour direct flight to travel the 9935 miles. In total, the cost of the flight there and back would be around $5195.00.

Hotels in Australia The first hotel which you could stay at is called the Shangri- La Hotel. It is located in Sydney, Australia right on the water. Your room could overlook the Opera House and the Harbor. Imagine waking up and looking out your window to the Harbor. It is located right in the city of Sydney, Australia therefore allowing walking distance to all the shops, restaurants and sites to see. Cost per night: $226.00

The Great Barrier Reef While in Australia you will be taking a day trip to the Great Barrier Reef. It will be a long day between traveling to the Reef and snorkeling but well worth it! The Great Barrier Reef can be seen from space and is the largest Coral Reef in the world. When arriving, you will snorkel and or scuba dive in the reef.
