Fire Extinguisher/ can put out fire Flammable/ can catch on fire Explosion/ can blow up … like a bomb Fire Blanket/ can put out fire on people

Acid/ corrosive Can burn or eat away things Eye wash/ to get chemicals out of your eyes Shower/ to put out fire on people or wash off chemicals

Fume Hood/ special machine in the class to place chemicals that give off strong or dangerous vapors Chemical vapors/ the smell or invisible gas that comes from a chemical…can be harmful Tongs/ used to move hot beakers or test tubes …prevents you from burning yourself

Broken Glass Special Disposal/ broken glass must go into a separate can Electric Shock/ be careful with electricity especially around water
