4. Primary School  4 years: form 1 to form 4  basic subjects: German, Maths, English  1st form: learn to read, to write and arithmetic  no marks!  2nd form:it becomes harder  first marks  3rd form: marks in all subjects  4th form: decision in which school you go further on

5. Marks  1 very good 2 good 3 ok 4 passed 5 bad 6 very bad

6. Primary School  Required average:  Grammar School: 1,0 till 2,4  Secondary school: 2,5 till 3,0  Basic school: from 3,1 and worse

7. Basic School  This school is for students who learn more slowly.  Basic subjects: Maths, English, German  Minor subjects: Sport, History, Geography, Art, Religion, Music,…  Apprenticeship in a company

8. Secondary School  Basic subjects: English, Maths, German, Science AND  In the 7th grade you MUST choose from: Technique, French or Domestics  Minor subjects: Religion, Sport, History, Geography, Art, IT,…  Apprenticeship or you can make the university-entrance diploma

9. Grammar School  Sports, Maths, German, English, Physics, Chemistry, Science, French, Latin or Italian/Spanish, Music, Art  After the final exams you can do everything!!!  Study at university or make an apprenticeship
