2. ONE First, you need a flash drive that has been cleaned off and is FAT32. Put your flash drive into a USB port and find the drive under My Computer.

3. TWO Right click on the drive and go to the Format command. Follow the directions to format the drive with FAT32. It will remove all files on your drive, so make sure you will be ok with that.

4. THREE Leave the flash drive there. Don’t remove it.

5. FOUR Go to http://www.pendrivelinux.com/ via your regular computer.http://www.pendrivelinux.com/

6. FIVE If your computers are running Windows 7, whatever version, you need to download the Universal USB Installer program. This gets loaded onto the computer.

7. SIX Go to the website below (look on slide with the*** on it) and download the lupu-5.2.2.iso file to your desktop.

8. SEVEN Run Universal USB Installer. The version of Linux we are using is Lucid Puppy

It is just a file you can save to your desktop.

12. If all went well, you should be booting from your Lucid Puppy USB. You will be prompted to create a persistent file for saving your session data on shutdown. Just be sure to choose your USB device when prompted.
