AUDACITY.  It is a free open source, digital audio editor, and recording computer software application.  Its easy to use.  Records live audio, and converts tapes and records into digital recordings and or CD’s.  Cuts, copies, splice, or mix sounds together, and changes the speed or pitch of a recording.

IRFANVIEW  It is a very popular freeware image editing application.  It has many of the features that professionals find useful, and is carefully designed with the best of both in mind.  It can be used to create some incredible pieces of artwork, or editing photographs.  Includes cloning, touch ups, and various other features.
