4. ACHIEVEMENTS Ms. Sooshinivethy S.S (2014 ECE passout) scored 1000/1000 in GATE 2015 in ECE stream and stood at 10th position (all India) and first in Kerala in that branch. National Conference on Computational Linguistics and Information Retrieval was successfully conducted. There were 7 invited talks/Tutorials by speakers from leading academic institutions and industry. Selected papers have been published in the Special Issue of the Research Journal CLEAR (Mar 2015 issue). There were 4 IEEE conference papers during the period, and one Best paper award. Total Research publications during the period is 17 All arrangements to start the TBI have been made. One student Project is about to file a patent application (search completed) Two projects with good industry potential have been identified (one funded by TEQIP and another by CERD)

5. ACCREDITATION The three eligible UG programs (CSE, IT and ECE) have applied for NBA accreditation Uploaded the eSAR on 30 Sep 2014. The date of expert committee visit is awaited. The BoG had suggested to go for ISO certification ahead of the accreditation. Hence discussions are on with a few ISO consultants with the help of Kerala Productivity Council.
