SIG Container SIG Container: uniform grid environment to every SIG resource node. Two type distribution versions Lite version. (v2.0) Meta version. (v2.0) Meta= Lite + (registration center)

SIG Container Free download from SIG site (http://grid.rsgs.ac.cn In Chinese Only)http://grid.rsgs.ac.cn Some middleware can also be free-accessed There are 12 nodes have been installed one kind of Containner. Dr. Huang will give detail explanation about it.

Data Resources There are 12 data centers have been involved SIG. There are two national spatial data distribution systems can be accessed from this grid portal : MODIS data distribution system. ENVI-SAT data distribution system.

Fast deploy technology Models and tools Within days (include interface designing, middleware developing and data-center deploying) MODIS sets: 2 days ENVI-SAT sets: 5 days (because it used a third part grid middleware)

Two type data discover : On-line: a broker Off-line: based on a cached metadata catalogue They have same interfaces and portal faces

Computation Resources There are three software packages have been integrated SIG PIPS. Developed by RSGS,CAS Based on HPC (16 CPUs Cluster ), can bring fast on-demand data processes. Titan. Developed by Titan Co. Ltd. Based on workstation, can bring on-demand data processed. ISPRS-MODIS Developed by IRPRS, CAS Based on Condor Cluster ( 5 workstations ), can bring on- demand MODIS data processing.
