Current Process – Key Components
MPC & ID Media bill media commission out of production for certain clients (i.e. L'oreal, J&J, Nationwide, Match.com)
The media portion is billed in Mbox and the commission on the media is billed out of production
Currently this commission is billed as fee and booked to fee revenue

3. Proposed Future State Process - Details
In One Place ID Media/MPC will open up a billable fee job (Job Type (FE) / Sub-Type (FE04) Media Commission
In job description enter “Media Commission” and reference the job in Mbox the commission relates to
Create an estimate using the material code for fee (20078) for the total amount of the commission
Internally (INTA) and externally (EXTA) approve the estimate
In “ZBILL” select “Create Fee Plan” (see screenshots below)
In “ZBILL” create fee billing
Once the client pays, cash will be posted against the transaction and the invoice will be cleared
Execute report “ZRR01” to verify where the revenue posted

4. Proposed Future State Process - Details
Select “Create Fee Plan” in Billing Process Center
Change the Item Category to “ZMV2” (Define Dates & Amts)
Update contract start and end date if needed

5. Proposed Future State Process - Details
Select “Bill Plan” to update your fee plan
On the conditions tab in Fixed time rate enter the contract plan amount

6. Proposed Future State Process - Details
In Billing Plan tab, uncheck “HeadBillPlan” and update the line/lines below with the appropriate billing dates and amounts.
Select the green arrow and save your contract fee plan

7. Proposed Future State Process - Details
In the RRB billing process center you will now have a Fee/Retainer request. You can now process a live billing which will final bill and reconcile the job. This will also automatically set the job status to “STIRR” (stop incurring) or “STBI” ( stop billing) so no other charges can be processed against it.
