1. Service Learning Krystin Bledsoe

2. A Long Night I volunteered for eight hours at St. Johns Catholic Church. After helping chaperone at an all night lock-in, it truly was a long night.

3. We hung out with the kids and made sure no one got into too much trouble. They played dance games and talked for hours.

4. Next, I tried my hand at microwave popcorn. It succeeded enough to disappear as soon as it appeared.

5. I don’t think I was supposed to laugh as much and have as much fun as the kids, BUT I DID!

6. The worst part of the job was sweeping the carpet, but we FINALLY got the job done.

7.  The night ended, and all was a success.  Service learning did not sound like a fun time, but it was and I am glad to have had this experience.
