Georiga 13 th colony Started with 4 large tents. Robert Castell had designed the city in 4 squares. 20 lots 60 X 90. First build sun dail, well, courthouse, mill, and bakery. 1734 German Protestants-given land 25 miles from Savannah Ebenezer-rock of help. Saltzburgers were these German Protestants.

Malcontents-people wanted to grow money crops instead of grapes and mullberry trees. Jews-42 landed and allowed to stay, but Trustees did not want them. Catholic-1 st doctor Samuel Nunis Moravians-German Protestants school for Indians, later moved.

Scottish Highlanders-Settled at Darien and brought over to help defend the colony. Frederica-fort on St Simons (British fort very expensive. John and Charles Wesley-First Sunday School and started the Methodist church. George Whitfield-Bethesda Orphanage
