Read year input from keyboard using Scanner class if a year is divisible by 4 but not by 100, it is a leap year. if a year is divisible by 4 and by 100, it is not a leap year unless it is also divisible by 400. boolean a = (year % 4) == 0; // divisible by 4 boolean b = (year % 100) != 0; // not by 100 boolean c = ( (year % 100) == 0 ) // divisible by 100 && ( (year % 400) == 0 ); //and divisible by 400 Use the boolean expression: ( a && ( b || c) ) to find a leap year.
