2 What is DocuSign? -- DocuSign is a web-based electronic signature and workflow management application. --It is becoming the campus solution for signatures and will significantly speed up processes that require signatures. -- The current process of printing a form, signing it, scanning it, and then emailing it takes up too much administrative time and decreases efficiency.

3 How is DocuSign being used so far at UCSF? 1. Business Processes –Subcontract invoice pilot with Controller’s Office & research departments –HR Retired Rehire web form process –ITFS exemption forms –IT Security – Encryption Variance Request forms –IT Procurement for Mission Bay Hospital 2. Signing documents on an individual basis

4 Accessing DocuSign DocuSign is accessible via MyAccess Either through the MyAccess landing page or at www.docusign.net, which will redirect you to MyAccess to log in www.docusign.net A new account will be created upon first log in to DocuSign via MyAccess This account will allow you to sign documents and view tracking statuses of the documents To upgrade to a Sender account, submit a ServiceNow ticket. (We are working with DocuSign to develop a system for all newly-created accounts to automatically have sending privileges)

6 How to get started with DocuSign: 1.Document your current business process 2.Learn about DocuSign functionality and begin process of converting current process into DocuSign process – see DocuSign page on it.ucsf.edu 3. Create template for business process and test it 4.Communicate workflow and signing changes to all senders, signers, and other recipients 5.Go live with new DocuSign process
