2. Timeline January 8 th aid for the spring term will apply to the students account and their charges. With the exception of Pell Grant, SNG Grant, College Bound, and Cougar Commitment when the student is enrolled less then full time. January 10 th direct deposits will be issued to students who have “leftover” aid after charges are paid. January 13 th checks will be sent to student’s who have any aid above tuition and fees and who were not signed up for direct deposit. January 24 th –Census- a “snapshot” of student enrollment will be taken for spring 2014 term.

3. Census Scenarios that will Create Bills 1.Undergrad who received one or more of the following: Pell Grant, SNG, College Bound, Cougar Commitment Enrollment at disbursement is full time and at census enrollment was between 6 credits and 11 credits What will to happen to awards after census – Pell grant multiplied by ½ for half-time enrollment or ¾ for three- quarter time enrollment – SNG multiplied by ½ for half-time enrollment or ¾ for three- quarter time enrollment – College Bound multiplied by ½ for half-time enrollment or ¾ for three-quarter time enrollment – Cancel Cougar Commitment – Adjust subsidized Stafford in some cases

4. 2.Undergrad who received grants or loans. Enrollment at disbursement was greater than or equal to 6 credits and at census they are less than 6 credits What will happen to awards after census All aid will be canceled

5. 3.Graduate who received loans. Enrollment at disbursement is greater than or equal to 5 credits and at census enrollment is less than 5 credits What will happen to awards after census All aid will be canceled

6. Census Scenarios that will Generate Money for the Student 1.Undergrad who were awarded one or more of the following: Pell Grant, SNG, College Bound, Cougar Commitment but not disbursed. Enrollment at disbursement between 6 and 11 credits and at census enrollment is between 6 credits and 11 credits What will to happen to awards after census – Pell grant multiplied by ½ for half-time enrollment or ¾ for three- quarter time enrollment and it will be disbursed – SNG multiplied by ½ for half-time enrollment or ¾ for three- quarter time enrollment and it will be disbursed – College Bound multiplied by ½ for half-time enrollment or ¾ for three-quarter time enrollment – Cancel Cougar Commitment and it will be disbursed – Adjust subsidized Stafford in some cases

7. If a student’s enrollment increases after Census, student may qualify for additional aid funds, under a Professional Judgment review, (PELL/WSNG/Cougar Commitment/College Bound). Student will need to fill out “Census Petition Form” online and submit for review. The form will be made available on our website after Census (January 24) for student completion and submission. Student will be notified by email of petition decision.
