The Ridge and Valley region is the 2nd smallest region
The Ridge and Valley region is located between the Blue Ridge & Appalachian Plateau
Elevation: 700 to 1,600 above sea level

Soil is mix of shale and sandstone on ridges.
Clay and limestone in valleys.
Valleys are divided by steep & narrow ridges capped with limestone.
