H ERE ARE SOME WORDS FROM THE BEGINNING ; A FRAID, SAD, NOT WORKING HARD, LAZY, POOR, HUNGRY, NOT APPRECIATING THINGS, HAVING NEGATIVE ATTITUDES, TALKATIVE AND MISBEHAVING. BUT THAT WAS ONLY PART OF IT. M IX IN LAUGHTER, RESPECT, HARD WORK, FAMILY, EDUCATION AND ADVENTURE AND THE PICTURE BECOMES A LITTLE CLEARER. W ORDS AND NUMBERS HAVE ALWAYS PLAYED A BIG PART IN MY LIFE. R EADING AND WRITING WERE MY ESCAPE, AND SOLVING PROBLEMS WAS THE SOLUTION FOR MANY THINGS IN MY LIFE. S CHOOL WAS MY REFUGE. F AST FORWARD TWENTY YEARS AND I STILL LOVE WORDS AND NUMBERS. FAMILY IS EVEN MORE IMPORTANT, BUT THOSE FIRST WORDS HAVE CHANGED TO HAPPY, JOYOUS, STRONG, HOPEFUL, HARD WORKING, BEHAVING AND HAVING POSITIVE ATTITUDES.. N OW I’ M SAVED, SET FREE, AT UNI WORKING HARD TO ACHIEVE WHAT I WANT. I UNDERSTOOD THAT WITHOUT WORDS AND NUMBERS I CAN ’ T REACH NOWHERE. L IFE ISN ’ T PERFECT, IT ’ S NOT SUPPOSED TO BE, BUT WORKING HARD AND USING THE OPPORTUNITIES THAT WE HAVE THAT IS ENOUGH. N EVER GIVE UP ; YOUR WORDS CAN CHANGE TOO AND YOUR LIFE CAN CHANGE TOO TO THE BETTER. H AVE A GOOD YEAR.

17. Converting percentages into fractions Percent means ‘out of 100’. To change a percentage to a fraction divide by 100 and then simplify. Example: a) 33% = 33/100b) 200% = 200/100 = 2
