Social Media- Today's Warriors! Create Chapter tweets inviting new members on Twitter. Create Facebook posts on Chapter FB page about recruitment and retention. Create YouTube video on recruitment (explain in 2 minutes). Post on Facebook and Tweet about video. Linked In (same as above).

Increase Public Awareness Ensure your ICF branded Chapter is highly ranked by Google and other search engines. Ask to get Chapter meetings listed in local business publications, monthly business meeting’s column in newspapers. Create monthly blog and include blogs posts about recruitment and retention.

More on Retention It cost 5 to 6 times as much to attract a new customer than to retain one. Phone campaigns to lapsed members. Invite them to re-join (studies show personal calls yield high renewals). Develop an incentive to bring them back. Create alliances with coaching students.

Programs = Outreach = membership recruitment and retention Offer activities/programs that will attract. Get thought leaders, writers, coaching experts to Skype into Chapter meeting. Locate new constituencies and groups. –Contact them to host programs and topics that will attract them.
