4 Learning disable children (Disability) A part of the brain that process language making it difficult for even genius caliber children to learn the sound of the correspond letter of the alphabet. Ask for word that rhymes with cat, they will have no idea what the question means.

5 Mr. Wright’s experience He was really lucky because he found out his condition early so that he could handle it and get enough help. Besides, there was a teacher who helped him out. As a result, he became one of the top educational lawyer. Before he took action he was a probation officer where finding that many of the people in his caseload were teenagers who dropped out of school with undiagnosed learning disabilities.

6 Mr. Wright’s Action Later on, he found out about Shannon Carter, a South Carolina teenager with an undiagnosed learning disability who arrived at high school virtually illiterate. She became suicidal.

7 No Child Left Behind Act Provide a wider and more practical fix by upgrading the teacher corps and requiring schools to teach reading in ways that are known to reach nonautomatic readers. Unfortunately, the federal government has not shown much effort on getting the job done.
